This project illustrates the breadth and adaptability of our architectural approach, demonstrating how we tailor design responses to suit clients with highly individual ambitions and complex briefs. It is a study in translating a strong personal vision into a coherent, buildable architectural outcome.
Spanning more than 950 square metres of habitable space across three levels, the residence departs deliberately from conventional Australian residential typologies. Its scale and stylistic direction demanded careful coordination, disciplined planning, and a clear design framework to ensure that ambition was matched with performance and constructability.
The clients arrived with a well-defined passion for a Mediterranean-inspired mansion and a clear philosophical direction for their future home. Their ideas were rich in intent and imagery, but required architectural interpretation to resolve them into a practical design. Our role was to synthesise this body of inspiration into a cohesive set of architectural documents that preserved their vision while introducing spatial logic, buildability, and environmental responsiveness.
A key objective was to embed architectural character alongside passive solar principles, ensuring the home performed as well as it expressed.
