This home takes full advantage of the opportunities that come with inner city living. It also demonstrates that with intelligent design, you can build a functional home on what is considered a small block, that does not disappoint. The owners wanted a home that was an “entertainer’s dream” and it needed to be flexible so they could get maximum use out of the space.
The home is situated on a modest 240m² site in North Perth. The client wanted the functionality that comes with the typical 4-bedroom and 2-bathroom suburban home, which meant we had to rethink the space planning of this home given the tight site constraints that come with a small subdivided block. They wanted the home to feel grand and spacious whilst also being practical and affordable.
