The success of any architectural project rests on the architect’s ability to interpret a client’s brief and translate those aspirations into a built outcome with clarity and intent. While architecture is inherently subjective, the most meaningful design moments emerge when a project responds precisely to the client’s priorities. This home presented several opportunities where that alignment produced defining architectural highlights.

Situated on a site just 7.5 metres wide, the project required a disciplined approach to narrow-lot design. The primary objective was to create a home that felt generous rather than constrained — avoiding the visual and spatial compression often associated with compact sites. Through careful planning, proportion, and the strategic use of light and volume, the design expands the perceived scale of the interiors, delivering spaces that feel open, comfortable, and far removed from the limitations of the footprint.
