Architecture, like all forms of design, is inherently personal. What resonates with one client may not suit another, which is why adaptability is central to our approach. As a practice, we tailor both our design thinking and services to the specific ambitions of each project, working closely with our clients to translate their priorities into thoughtful, well-resolved architectural outcomes.
Set within Greenmount in the Perth Hills, this project presented a distinctive brief shaped by its elevated setting. Expansive views toward the city are a defining asset of the site, balanced against the technical challenges associated with its sloping terrain and reactive soil conditions. The design responds by embracing both the opportunity and the constraints, aligning structural strategy with spatial intent.
The home is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of a classic family residence. Natural stone walls, rendered masonry, and a composition of pitched tiled roofs establish a familiar architectural language, refined through proportion and detailing. Arranged across three levels, the residence delivers approximately 630 square metres of generous living space, combining scale with comfort to support modern family life.
